I stayed the result last night. It is one of the most beautiful locations on the trail. The cost is $15 a night and the location is mile marker 7 off Chiefl Ladiga trail. The caretaker , Terri was so friendly and kind. Just choose your site when you arrive and he'll come and check on you. Plenty of firewood and nice restrooms. I never heard or saw a car the entire time we were there.

12/4/11 – Stayed in the campground. Set up a tent by the river and all you could hear was the sound of running water. This is a very remote location and extremely quiet. The campground is so big that you should have no problem finding a site well away from the crowd. Some sites have picnic tables and really nice fire rings. The bath house has the biggest private showers I have ever seen; they even have their own light for each shower. The people operating the place were real nice. I would gladly stay here again.
