I saw in doing a "Google" search on the Silver Comet Trail that Cobb County (eastern 13 miles of the trail) plans on doing construction work that will periodically close parts of the trail in Cobb County in winter and spring 2014. Please check http://prca.cobbcountyga.gov/silvercomet.htm
