I think there is actually a posted speed limit isn't there (I know I don't have to worry about breaking it on my bicyle! :- )?
What brings this question to mind is the recent other Original Post inquiring if E-Bikes were allowed ... The E-Bicyclists with whom I spoke told me that their E-Bikes travel along at 17mph on level paved surface.

The posted speed limit in the rules of the trails is 15MPH
