We are very regular riders on our hometown county trail here in Missouri, several thousand miles a year and wondering when planning a trip to the Silver Comet trail or the Chief Ladiga trail in Georgia/Alabama which parts of these trails would be best to ride if we have about two days to ride (we are bringing cross bikes and are capable of some road and light Mt bike riding with these). We are thinking bringing our bikes to a central location and then heading 25 miles out and back one day and 25 miles out and back the other direction on the other day. We plan, depending on Covid at staying at Hotel or B and B for night and between the two rides Where should we start? No offence to parts west but the Piedmont area looks especially inviting with the trees etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

Very nice website by the way.
