Smyrna to Powder Springs

We are riding the trail for the first time and was wondering if Smyrna to Powder Springs is a lot of stop and go through the burbs of Atlanta and if it would be best to start at Powder Springs to avoid this although cutting off 11 miles. Thanks!

Not too bad. This end has a lot of walkers. You just have to slow down.
