Georgia:
West of Dallas past McPherson Parking Lot, you enter Paulding Forest WMA. Folks camp near MP# 29-30 down off the trail to Racoon Creek.
East of Rockmart is a pay camping area called "The Rock" (MP# 34-35).
West of Rockmart MP# 45-46 is Camp Comet.
In Alabama:
West of Borden Springs you enter Pinhot Wilderness Area MP# 67-70.
West of Piedmont MP# 78-79 the City of Piedmont has a park with a spring.
At the end of the Trail in Anniston there is another private campground, M. Taylor Park
