Planning on starting in either Piedmont or Cedartown and riding east. Are the motels easier to get to by bike in Hiram or Smyrna? Which is the better town overall to stay in? Can you safely get from the trailhead to downtown Atlanta by bike? I'm thinking not, so are there cabs or shuttles that will get you there? Any guidance will be helpful, thanks.
