The Amtrak Crescent runs between Atlanta and Anniston, which in theory could provide a return option for cyclists wishing to ride the entire 100 miles. However, Amtrak does not provide bicycle racks on the Crescent (as they do on some other routes). Please consider contacting Amtrak to request that they provide bicycle racks on this route.

Nelson, I've contacted Amtrak on this very issue. Its like talking to a brick wall. I bike the Katy via Amtrak and its great way to expereince the trail.
